The winter edition of Maison & Objet, the leading trade fair in the home decor, has just ended in Paris and has seen the participation of Metalmobil for the third year in a row.
The company has chosen to be present at the Parc des Expositions with some of its most popular products: amongst these the Myra armchair, designed by Emilio Nanni, the Dalton side chair by Giulio Iacchetti and some of the more recent projects signed Marc Sadler: the monobloc chair in polypropylene Nassau, the pouf PIF and Flint.
But also a few novelties at the Metalmobil stand, designed by the architect Giovanni Maria Filindeu for this occasion too, which have attracted the experts’attention. Indeed the edition that has just ended was chosen as the occasion for the preview of the new seats born from the collaboration with the French designer Marc Sadler:
Here what Marc Sadler says about his latest project for Metalmobil: “The aim was to obtain a «new classic» aestethic, which could underline the attention to details. The result is a sort of modern functionalist and rationalist Bauhaus that reveals a peculiar innovation in the technologies available in the industrial production of this type of seating. The narrow radius of curvature of the metal tube has allowed us to create a highly distinctive and very personal design alphabet that characterizes the debut of the Cuba collection previewed in these days, which will be capable, without any doubt, of writing many other interesting stories in the world of design for the public and the residential markets”.
The evolving and renovating process that Metalmobil started in 2017 keeps going on and will continue with numerous and important news in the year that has just begun.
