Palau: Red Dot Winner 2020

Et al. is proud to announce that Palau, designed by Marc Sadler, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award - Product Design 2020.

The statement by the Red Dot jury on the product: "An aesthetic shaped by airiness combines with practical features to make the Palau chair a highly versatile piece of furniture" .

Described as the Oscars of the design industry, the Red Dot Award is one of the world’s largest and well-respected product design competitions. Its international jury comprises experienced experts from different disciplines and has been convening for around 60 years in order to select the year’s best designs.
Palau collection, launched during Salone del Mobile 2019, combines aesthetic perfection and functionality, making it perfect for easily furnishing all collective environments. It gives a sensation of lightness thanks to its clean, minimal yet bold design. The chair, which has four slender legs, is slim and has an enveloping format to ensure the maximum ergonomics.
